I have been really enjoying dragging out old things to add to my decor. This old picket fence was in our backyard when we moved here about two years ago. I never knew it was such a treasure! I LOVE IT!
The bookpage wreath adds some soft roudness, yes, that’s “professional” decorator talk there! teehee 🙂
I have one more idea for the mantel that is in the works. I’ll be posting about it next. Here’s a hint of what it is: It begins with a “B” and ends with an “er”. Hmmm…. mystery has never been a quality of mine.
Then it’s on to finishing my tablescape. Oh yeah, I also need something for the chandelier, over the sink, on and on and on, right? I have a love/hate relationship with my list of hopeful creations. I love the projects, but I hate that I don’t have enough time in the day!

Wow! Your mantle is so cheery, I love it! I know you’re happy you saved that adorable picket fence! I have a funky gate from an old picket fence I need to incorporate in my house too, thanks for the inspiration!
Thanks so much, Holly! Isn’t it weird how things most people would never drag inside are some of the BEST decorating pieces?! I even had an old wheelbarrow inside for Christmas.
